What should we do:Celebrate or Cry

What a tragic end to 2012!!!.I am confused, should I celebrate or cry.Should I celebrate for braveheart Nirbhaya's fearlessness and indomitable struggle against inhuman odds or for New Year or should I cry for her tragic death and the injustice.

But one thing that came out is that Damini's fighting spirit changed the mindset of many people of this country where gender biasity dominates most of the minds. But see the speech of Dr. Manmohan Singh, he said "As a father of 3 daughters I feel strongly about this as each one of you".But the question is that when this speech came?. It came after 7 days of mass outrage and police havoc due to which a peaceful protest turned into a violent one.
This is the time to ask various questions about the law reinforcement and various other things and get their answers as soon as possible and let Government realise their mistakes so that these type of incidents will never happen in future.

So let this New Year inspire in us the resolve to change the society, challenging every one of their conspiratorial assaults. Damini's story enjoins us to remake the world so that every member of a long-oppressed sorority can trust it as a guarantor of equality, security and justice.

Although 2012 ended but the fight against the monstrous product of this society will not.
So in the hope that 2013 will see a changed India......Happy New Year 2013.

Friendship Day : In train, with 'Watsapp' and 'No Gazing' Girls

First of all Happy Friendship Day to all my friends, friends of friends and so on. This friendship day was a kind of different for me as I spent most of the time in travelling. I went to Malpura this Saturday for police verification of passport. I went inside the police station for the very first time in my life although the reason was not serious. Due to lot of travelling in very little time and prevailing illness I started feeling feverish. To attend Monday classes to mark my presence in attendance sheet and not to miss any surprise quizzes I decided to return on Sunday itself and went to railway station of "Pink City"  half an hour before the schedule despite of feeling not well. I went straight to platform 3 at which 12988, ALL SDAH was expected to arrive on scheduled time. Thanks to Almighty I was lucky this time that Indian railways broke my record as my train arrived at right time for first time, in all other previous instances whenever I travelled by train, Indian ...
